The Museum of My Childhood

The Museum of My Childhood

At a time of uncertainty, I wanted to focus on a time where everything seemed to make sense and had its place. Looking at routine and rituals, I have begun to retell the stories of my childhood with my final work being a model of myself as a child. The story I have chosen to share is my journey to school and who I would encounter on my way, from the friendly homeless man to the lollipop lady. To help narrate this story, I used my childhood writing from old school books to create my own font.

Involved sculpting with polymer clay, lasercutting, costume fabrication, painting and designing a typeface.
